RAPA, founded in 1920 by August Pausch and Hans Rausch in Selb, Bavaria, can look back on over 100 years of innovation and success. Today, the company is run by the fourth generation of the family and remains true to its roots while operating worldwide. With locations in Germany, the USA and China, RAPA underlines its international presence and its importance as a leading supplier of valve and fluid technologies. RAPA's history is a testament to the power of tradition, progress and consistency.
Audited environmental management
RAPA has been validated in accordance with the EMAS regulation since 2016. The EU eco-audit is a "voluntary commitment" to environmental protection and sustainability within the company. The validation is based on a comprehensive environmental statement. We have been certified in accordance with the internationally applicable ISO14001 standard, which is part of our integrated management system, since 2007. Conformity with ISO 14001 is also checked in the annual EMAS audits.
Top 100 Innovator 2023
For the second time in a row, RAPA is delighted to have been named Top100 Innovator 2023. The award is only given to particularly innovative medium-sized companies. RAPA demonstrated its innovative strength on the basis of more than 100 test criteria and received the seal in size class C, companies with more than 200 employees. In the scientific selection process, RAPA was particularly impressive in the category "Innovation-promoting top management".
