Attention pupils and students: If you want to earn some extra money during the school or semester break, you can lend a hand at our Selb site. As a vacation worker, you will support our specialist departments with a wide range of tasks.
We mainly offer vacation jobs in the technical areas of production, manufacturing, assembly and logistics, provided you are a pupil or registered student or in the phase between school and university.

Vacation work takes place preferably in the summer months from June to October. During other vacation periods, e.g. Easter or Whitsun, we can only rarely offer vacation work.

The maximum working hours are based on the legal requirements:
- For persons up to the age of 18, the maximum duration is 4 weeks per year.
- Persons aged 18 and over may work a maximum of 70 working days per year as part of vacation work.
In the assembly area, working hours are in shifts, with the scheduling of our vacation workers following the requirements of the halls. The usual working time is 7.5 hours per day, including a 30-minute break. The shifts cover early, late and night shifts (6 a.m. - 2 p.m., 2 p.m. - 10 p.m., 10 p.m. - 6 a.m.). Occasionally, weekend work may also be required.
Work in production or logistics, simple tasks such as machine operation, inserting and removing parts, packaging, sorting, quality control by visual inspection and with the help of measuring parts, assistance with cleaning machines and systems
Your application will be registered with us and included in an applicant pool. You will then receive a confirmation of receipt from us. As we only have a limited number of vacation jobs, we are unfortunately unable to offer vacation work to all applicants. If there is an opportunity for an assignment, we will contact you.
If you are accepted, we will contact you by telephone. It is important that you provide a telephone number in your application and that you can be reached. Vacation workers are sometimes assigned at very short notice. It is also important that you check your emails regularly. You will receive information about the planned duration and your first day. You will then receive all further information on site.
