Head of Quality Series (m/f/d)
With seven production and assembly halls, we offer customized, innovative solutions for OEMs and Tier 1 customers worldwide. For our Selb site, we are looking for a motivated and experienced department manager for our quality assurance in the area of series production.
Your Tasks
- Head of the Series Quality department with responsibility for supplier complaints, production quality (production defects) and customer complaints in a dynamic production environment.
- Responsibility for the definition, implementation and further development of quality strategies, processes and standards in series production
- Ensuring compliance with all internal and external quality requirements throughout the entire product life cycle
- Analyzing quality deviations from a supplier, production and customer perspective as well as initiating and following up on sustainable corrective and preventive measures (e.g. 8D, Root Cause Analysis).
- Leadership, motivation and targeted further development of the quality series team including the promotion of methodological competence and continuous improvement processes.
- Identification and implementation of measures to reduce rejects, rework and complaint costs and to increase process efficiency.
- Close cooperation with production, engineering, development, purchasing, suppliers and customers to ensure consistent quality along the entire value chain.
- Regular analysis, preparation and reporting of relevant key quality indicators (KPIs) to the Head of Quality.
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies in the field of engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the management of quality assurance departments in the automotive industry or a comparable field, preferably with knowledge of series production of high-precision components
- Sound knowledge of quality management systems (e.g. IATF 16949, VDA) and quality assurance methods (e.g. FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5Why)
- Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Very good analytical skills, problem-solving orientation and a high level of quality awareness
- Strong communication skills in German and English
- High level of commitment on site and a solution-oriented way of working
