Apprenticeship as IT specialist (m/f/d)
First level support - infrastructure & network - fault diagnosis
As an IT specialist, you can take on a wide range of tasks in our IT department in our various teams. At the Service Desk, you will advise and help colleagues with issues relating to our internal systems, set up new hardware and, as first level support, be the first point of contact for problems and errors of all kinds. Depending on your area of specialization, you will then have different tasks in infrastructure and network technology (keyword: Active Directory), the area of business processes or digital production. For example, you will program databases (Industry 4.0), regulate the internal firewall, manage user accounts and access authorizations or map processes in our software systems. There is also the opportunity to work in our branches in the USA and China after your training.

System integration
- Planning and design of IT infrastructures, networks and system solutions that meet the requirements of the company or organization
- Analysis and efficient resolution of IT problems to ensure smooth operation
- Management and optimization of IT infrastructures and networks to ensure system stability
- Use of virtualization technologies (Nutanix AHV)
- Operation of distributed file systems; backup management
- Management of client devices through cloud management platform (MS Intune)
Application development
- Development and programming of customized software solutions
- Analysis of requirements/objectives and creation of concepts
- Development and implementation of database concepts
- Maintenance and adaptation of existing database structures
- Digitization and automation through suitable, specialized software solutions
- Analysis and efficient resolution of IT problems to ensure smooth operation
- Ensuring data protection and security at software level
