Dual study program with training as an industrial clerk (m/f/d)
The dual study program gives you the opportunity to obtain two degrees at the same time - an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk (IHK) and a Bachelor's degree at Hof University of Applied Sciences. You can choose between two fields of study: Business Administration (BWL) or Industrial Engineering and Management (WING).
As a dual student, your first year begins with a one-year in-company apprenticeship and attendance at vocational school. You then transfer to Hof University of Applied Sciences.
On the Business Administration (BWL) course, you will study the basics of business administration and focus on areas such as digital business, marketing, sales, logistics and business informatics.
On the Industrial Engineering and Management (WING ) course, you will combine business and technical expertise - e.g. in the areas of production, technology, controlling and project management.
During the semester breaks and the practical semester, you will apply your theoretical knowledge directly at our company. In the 5th semester, you will take your IHK final examination to become an industrial clerk. You will then continue your studies at the university and continue to work on practical projects at our company.
Your tasks
As an industrial clerk, you play a central role in the economic processes of a company. You will ensure that all business processes run smoothly so that the company remains successful and profitable. During your apprenticeship, you will work in various departments such as purchasing, sales, controlling and accounting. You will take on a variety of tasks and actively contribute to day-to-day business, which will ensure a varied and exciting working environment.
