Development Engineer - Embedded Software (m/f/d)

Your Tasks
- Low-level development of control unit software in C for microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics
- Implementation of projects at the prototype stage that serve as initial functional demonstrators for the customer
- For smaller projects, additional involvement in circuit design and layout of the associated electronics
- Development of test and commissioning software as a prerequisite for testing the microcontroller-based electronics
- Commissioning and debugging of the software on the target hardware
- Ensuring software quality even in early project phases
- Close coordination with electronics/hardware development and product development
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, computer science, or a comparable field
- Very good knowledge of low-level C programming for microcontrollers
- Knowledge of electronics (circuit design, layout) is desirable
- Experience with microcontroller-based mixed-signal electronics is a plus
- Structured and independent work style, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team
- Business-level German and good written and spoken English
