FMEA Moderator (m/f/d)
With seven production and assembly halls, we offer customized, innovative solutions for OEMs and Tier 1 customers worldwide. We are looking for a motivated and experienced employee in the Quality department for our Selb site.
Your Tasks
- Moderation and implementation of design FMEAs (D-FMEA) and process FMEAs (P-FMEA) for mechanical, E/E and software systems
- Development, standardization and modularization of global FMEA structures
- Use of FMEA to systematically avoid repeat errors and ensure continuous improvement
- Introduction of AI-supported methods to increase efficiency, minimize risk and ensure consistency in FMEAs
- Ensuring the integration of functional safety (ISO 26262) and automotive cybersecurity (ISO 21434) into FMEA processes
- Collaboration with development, production, suppliers and customers to identify risks at an early stage
- Establishing and maintaining global FMEA data management to secure knowledge and reuse proven solutions
- Conducting workshops and training courses on FMEA methodology and best practices
- Analysis of risk and error data, derivation of countermeasures and continuous improvement process
- Assisting with audits (internal, supplier, customer) in the area of risk management
Your profile
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, quality management or similar
- Several years of experience as an FMEA moderator, ideally in the automotive environment
- Sound knowledge of D- and P-FMEA, APQP, 8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa
- Experience with functional safety (ISO 26262) and / or ASPICE desirable
- Interest and experience in the use of AI-supported methods or digital tools for process optimization
- Experience in setting up global quality standards an advantage
- Strong awareness of lessons learned and repeat error prevention
- Structured, analytical and results-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and ability to moderate interdisciplinary teams
- Very good knowledge of German and English
