Your Tasks
Strategic customer responsibility
- Development and implementation of global key account strategies
- Expansion of long-term partnerships with OEMs and system suppliers
- Identification of new business potential (platforms, derivatives, innovations)
- Competition and market analysis
Sales and profit responsibility
- Overall responsibility for sales, contribution margin and budget
- Leading complex price and contract negotiations
- Management of RFQ processes in close cooperation with Development and Controlling
Project and series business
- Supporting customer projects from the inquiry to SOP
- Escalation management for quality, costs or delivery performance
- Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire product life cycle
Leadership and organization
- Technical and disciplinary management of a sales team
- Further development of structures, processes and reporting
Close cross-departmental collaboration with Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Controlling and Quality
Your profile
- Successfully completed studies (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering; alternatively commercial studies with relevant professional experience in a technical environment)
- Several years of management experience in key account management of an automotive supplier or related sectors
- Experience in dealing with OEMs and Tier 1 system suppliers
- Sound knowledge of the RFQ process and APQP/PPAP
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking
- Entrepreneurial mindset and results orientation
- Business fluent in English
- Willingness to travel internationally
