Your Tasks
- Supplier Selection and Qualification
- Responsibility for Supplier Development
- Conducting product and process audits, monitoring two-day production runs
- Acceptance of initial samples, monitoring of target dates in the product development process
- Responsibility for suppliers of commodity plastics and machining
- Escalation and Crisis Management
- Implementation of our quality and process requirements at the supplier’s site
- Reporting of key performance indicators and monitoring of improvement programs
Your profile
- Successfully completed degree (Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s) in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, Plastics Engineering, or a comparable technical program
- Relevant professional experience spanning several years in the automotive sector, particularly in quality and supplier management; alternatively, professional experience in the field of plastic injection molding and/or machining
- Proficiency in the quality standards IATF 16949, ISO 26262, and VDA, as well as knowledge of quality techniques such as APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
- Experience in project management
- Knowledge of functional safety and Design for Six Sigma is a plus
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Willingness to travel
- Motivational and facilitation skills
