Assembly manager (m/f/d)
With seven production and assembly halls, we offer customized, innovative solutions for OEMs and Tier 1 customers worldwide. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Assembly Manager (m/f/d) with strong leadership skills for our Selb site.
Your Tasks
- Technical and disciplinary management of an assembly area
- Ensuring a smooth production process in terms of quality, costs, delivery and productivity
- Responsibility for the assembly of customer-specific systems in the chassis environment
- Managing and developing the shift teams, including personnel deployment planning
- Monitoring and optimization of KPIs (OEE, rejects, rework, productivity, delivery performance)
- Implementation and further development of lean management and store floor processes
- Close cooperation with development, industrial engineering, quality assurance, logistics and maintenance
- Supporting series start-ups and accompanying process approvals and audits
- Ensuring compliance with occupational safety, quality and environmental standards
- Continuous improvement of assembly processes in terms of CIP and operational excellence
Your profile
- Completed technical training as a master craftsman/technician or comparable qualification
- High resilience in daily work processes
- Several years of experience in production or assembly in the automotive environment
- Assertive leadership of employees in shift operation
- Knowledge of the assembly of complex mechatronic or hydraulic assemblies is an advantage
- Experience with lean production, store floor management and KPI control
- Structured, solution-oriented and assertive way of working
- Strong team and communication skills
- Business fluent in German and ideally knowledge of English
