Business division: RAPA Automotive Entry level: Students Field of work: Internship / Working student / Thesis Location: Selb, Germany

In this thesis, the tool of digital process mapping is to be used to facilitate and parallelize the commissioning and further development of complex equipment. To this end, modularized process models are to be derived for typical assembly processes and then digitally modelled so that they can be used as a basic building block for virtual commissioning. The potential for cost and time savings is to be evaluated on the basis of research into the state of the art and the company's own implementation.
